Pre-1963 Aladdin's Magic Lamp Bugmaster Insect Zapper & Medical Vaporizer In mint, unused condition. Box is in pristine condition.
Aladdin’s lamp has a duel purpose. Claims to kill and insect or spider and can also be used as a human vaporizer by just cleaning the bowl and adding one teaspoon of Vap-o-Relief solution (available for $1.25 per bottle).
Active incredient to kill bugs was Gamma Isomer of Benzene Hexachlorine from Lindane which claims to leave an invisible film for up to 2 weeks after application!
The box measurements are 7.5 x 4.5x 5. Construction is heavy cardboard with inserts and paperwork. The packet of bug killer is empty. Pre-zip code. Appears to be from the late 1950s-early 1960s.
The yellow ceramic lamp is just over 5.5” in length. 115 volt. Its attached electric cord is in excellent condition. Model 0.
